These are some memories that I have of my grandmother, I was about 8 years old. Hiding in her rose garden, I stood. I watched her cutting the roses softly. Her dark skin, sparkled in the midday's sun. With her cane she supported her life. In the middle of her garden, I stood. While she sat on her rocking chair, unable to walk. I cut her favorite rose and gave it to her. She put it on my hair, kissed my forehead. And sat there, staring at her rose garden. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh my gosh, this beautiful poem to your grandmother was so beautiful it made me cry! I have so many fond memories of my grandma too; she loves lilacs, and I would go outside with her on the lawn and smell the sweet fragrance in the air! (sigh) She is such a beautiful person just like you are! I can see the loving resemblance between you both! (smiles) You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
