This time discontent
does seek to chain me
enslave me
to broken dreams
lost in the sea of regret

Standing on cliff of desion
feeling pulled by pain and doubt
to the violent waters below
but in the corner of
mind's eye
a distant rainbow
like a lighthouse calls me home

Rushing toward the gentle light
reborn in its rays
of hope and love
in fields of flowers
staring at the sky
looking for your name in the stars

Even if pain does come again
to haunt my door
I will have your heavenly vision
to chase the deamons away
filling my heart forevermore
laying on my back
daydreaming
