Would You, Please.. Would you recognize me through the tears, that myst and cloak my world? Would you see beneath the coverings, the heart that's tightly furled? Would you see behind the wall of grief, that hides the soft within To recognize, in darkness of, this life, I've settled in? Could you hold me in the warmth of words to calm, caress, the fear? In shadows, could I reach your touch and know that you are near? Would you recognize me if I smiled, when thoughts of you unfold? Would you allow this, please each morning's rise this pleasure, mine to hold... ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

If the person you had in mind doesn't say yes, they are just insane!! This is absolutely beautiful and tender...loved it!! The road goes on forever, and the stories never end... |

You write such tender sadness Wynter. You do it with such beauty! "Would you recognize me if I smiled, when thoughts of you unfold?" I just can't get over the meaning one can get out of that! |

This is so beautiful...you have such a way of flowing rhyme and pattern and yet it never gets in the way of what you're saying with your words. Wonderful!!! |

Thank you Sunnyone...it was sweet of you to say so...I had a very upsetting morning and for some reason this came pouring out. It isn't my usual style, but sometimes you have to just let it flow. Thank you Marge ....my naked thoughts unfolded easily this morning. hoot_owl_rn I am glad you enjoyed my words today. Thank you for responding Kathleen, I know you do and I thank you for your constant support huggsssss ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

V~ am sending you an icq..thank you for always hearing me out *s... E... I'm always happy to know you have read my words..thanks huggsssss M ..and yes I wrote that sentence to have a deep and special meaning. vandana, I am not sure this is one of my best poems ever...but for today it satisfied a need in me..thank you. BC - you are so sweet...what more can I say ~Smiles~ VAS I have always prided myself that rhyme and rhythm come naturally to me...and in many forms ...so when it begins to flow, I let it alone. I can always write it in another form but the first is the best for me.Thank You Poeminister, thank you for reading and responding ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |
