There is a night road I walk, Tenderly applying myself to the dirt, And shadows there roaming along. Songs like spirits sink into my favor, And I alone, watch the wind carry the dust of my smile, To sit upon branches grasped by the moon. A pondering heart will take me everywhere, And the memory of love stands like truth, In an ever constant circle of tantalizing emotion. Breathing the chill of the darkened air, I take myself along accordingly. I am a numbered canvas with many numbers, And no one seems to know the right colors, Nor the right formula to keep the colors from fading. They have all tried with their brushes, To make the wary liquid stick, But it never casts a permanent stain. Am I as complicated as a sky of stars, Or could I be as simple as a softly kissing breeze? I only want to roam in my love, the night's, favor, And be as eloquently wild within my passion, As any lover of his could ever be, Ahh.. But I want to surpass that also, And be the one who brings the spirit of desire, To the lives of those who sleep this time. I wonder in my flight, If I will ever be able to cast myself out of my words, And I wonder if by casting myself out of my words, Then will I be some true artist, A great and influential poet perhaps. Let it be not death, but life that my moment, Of tenderly touching spirits happens within, For I want to see you smiling when you read my words. I want to feel your tears while you understand my sorrows and joys. I want to heed your calls of relation to my fluctuating will. There is a night road I walk often in solitude, So that I may beg of my need for words to be met, And that need has proven insatiable still, So here I am, On my road, Feet falling urgently upon the path, And I am feeling more ease within the dark, Than any daylight sun could ever give me. This is when the world sleeps, And I stay up to catch their dreams, And watch my gates to the realm. I think I may have found my key again. Let me not loose it. still d-i-s-c-o-n-n-e-c-t-e-d |

Well I hope you don't loose it either! (the key). Darkness is food for my little muse too, but it, I am sorry to say, does not see near as well as yours in the dark! This was excellent, and yes, I do believe you shall obtain that which you seek. ~*~ I write ~ Therefore I am ~*~ |

even though you move in the Dark. . . you must move in the light sometime. . . for while dreams can be caught in the Dark, they can only be made true in the Light. . . excellent. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
