now, that's a poem

rip the words from your mind,
dig, dig, dig, and find.

tear a hole in style,
take that risk for a while.

laugh at the so-called rules,
make your own schools.

cross borders with impunity,
invent opportunity.

want to be strong?
then sing your own song.

if 'they' say you're wrong...
so long!

this is probably why i was expelled from preschool...tom
