my friend
you bring me here
to this place of discontent
where I value you
yet want so much more
where I give you
all the soul I can
I want so much to be with you
as more than we are
to kiss your lips
to be held with in your arms
to give you everything
alone I wait here
in this place
half way between
the best friend
and the girl friend
wondering
which way will I choose?

Fantastic, what a really lovely dilemma. I think true, real friendship should be a prerequisite to love.

Sometimes the best and most rewarding route in the end is the friendship. They will always appreciate the treasure longer. Or..so has been my experience.
