![]() ~*Lost In a Sea Of Sorrow *~In the quiet of the evening when tapping comes the rain, I get depressed and under stress, start battling my pain. Lost in a sea of sorrow, hiding in a frown, memories trapping, On the surface of my mind the rain keeps tap, tap, tapping. I am tangled in the loss of something I did not choose. Every day another hope is lost, and I can’t find any clues. How to conquer? How to fix me? How to take away the pain and past? They have even clipped my tail, to make this suffering last. And ever is the darkness that pervades my inner soul, I'm falling, ever falling, down a dark and endless hole Living in the hope that I'll be saved by reality, I flounder back and forth in a sea of opinions endlessly. I know of no escape from this bitter awful place, So I face each day with what seems insurmountable disgrace. I raise my arms up to the sun, for the strength to carry on, And hope that no one sees me till this suffering is gone. Drowning in a sea of one more victim’s distress, Is me who needs much loving, and to live with no duress. I am hiding in a sea of sorrow, lost inside a frown, But I will never give up searching until the child in me is found. ~*just a poem*~ * art: Jim Warren "Reach For The Sun" ~*~ I write ~ Therefore I am ~*~ |

How come mermaids always get to be nude? Ponder this: we use them because of lost youth? All kidding aside, the writing stands without the art work and that is how it should be. "I am not now that which I have been." |
