Before You I must have lived before you learned my name I know I was here playing my part in life’s game But I can’t recall anything I did before I met you I lived I know but my heart hadn’t learned true The sun shone and graced the sky with her fire But my spirit walked sedately it didn’t soar higher There were days that I thought would never end Where troubles came endlessly my soul to offend I’d lurch from dusk to dawn without a kind word My soul was left frozen unable to make itself heard I was in the race but didn’t understand the route My life was routine I lived continually on mute There must have been stars that shone in my sky I'm sure there were nights when I thought I’d fly I must have had my wings in those days before you And times when my spirit came smiling on through But I can’t recall ever feeling as content as all this I don’t remember being bathed in loves total bliss My world has changed so much now you are here Suddenly all I have never seen begins to just appear The clouds that obscured my view have melted away I can see the future is bright I welcome the new day The reason I'm here is not for me to ponder at all I'm here just because, I'm here to answer your call Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim |

Marsha love, this is wonderful. . . you do have such a gift for this rhyming stuff, I wish that I could do it half as well as you. . . so nice to see you, quite literally!!! --------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
