My cats won't let me sleep through dreams
someone will bounce off bed or wall
they so disintigrate the theme
soon someone else will heed the call.

I swear I'd drug the lot of us
with special treat of Valium pie
just maybe then they'd stop the fuss
and leave me to my dreams all night.

Of course, instead I just yell stop
rousted again from peaceful sleep
pick up whatever they have dropped
and wonder why these cats I keep.

Yes, this was funny.......  sounds like a real dilemma, at least you never have the misfortune of feeling alone.... and there's always cats to blame things on.

LOL

I love it Sandra. . . I'm sure that many a cat owner would agree with you. . .

this is a delightful read, catalinamoon!!!
One of mine lets me sleep with no problem.  The other doesn't care whether I'm asleep or not, it's not her problem if I wake up when she leaps to the window above my head from my waterbed OR back to the waterbed from the window, she's just checking out the view SEVERAL TIMES A NIGHT!

Well, actually, the other female likes to go into the master bathroom, just as I'm falling asleep, and pulling the cabinet door open slightly so it will bang shut several times until I holler.  The two boys are usually outside and so I rarely hear from them in the night.

They just love ya, 'cat' !
I know all about this, so they get their share of the house at night and I get mine.

This was very cute, Sandra.  Mine wakes me up every morning with a furry little paw tapping me on the shoulder.  Sometimes, he's like a little furry person.  Too cute!

Sandra,
This is a precious write. Too bad your naughty little kitties can't read it!

I see we have lots of people owned by cats here
I have tried to put my naughtiest one in another area of the house, closed up with all the things he needs, and a large room to run around. He bangs on the door so hard it still wakes me up  LOL so I gave up.
