The lightning follows past the scar in the ground before the hundled mass fearing to be found The angels in the sky turn the heads away crying to a god whose passion seems to fade. The lightning comes again to open up their hearts seeing once again that they are all apart estranged from simple lives the kind that barely wake they listen to the sounds the crying angels make. Heaven is long away lost to all of us its only for the gods to play leaving us this dust Heaven is far away for angels coming home we've been gone far to long to remember where to go. |

MichaelG~ This is such such wonderful pondering in your phrases ~ 'estranged from simple lives the kind that barely wake they listen to the sounds the crying angels make' I really enjoyed this thought~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

========================================= Heaven is long away lost to all of us its only for the gods to play leaving us this dust Heaven is far away for angels coming home we've been gone far to long to remember where to go. =========================================== I particarily like this last verse. I like your use of words and vision they place in the mind. But I would have to disagree with you. Very few things are ever lost forever, some just take longer to find again then others. Marina It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen |
