Longwood Gardens courtesy of Victoria You Touched Me You were there as a friend, in each moment of need and you touched me, as your eyes followed and my words pressed your mind. You brushed me, with each thought that rested upon my screen in return; sometimes with a tenderness of a read, sometimes to embolden me to write my heart and always to share and improve upon our poetic thoughts. In our search for contentment, I am happy I was shown this place of passions and shared it with you and with the few of us that I knew would feel the comfort offered and given in return, unconditionally. I saw in you what many others did and more; a magic woven with threads of words to enchant, drawing one into your world, a land of romance with delicate detail to every sensation. I wanted to capture you, your artist look, in eyes so distinguished and gentle and kind in youth and in age, in words and in strength of a forever friendship. I shall always wish that time had remained on our side and that we could have shared a few words of friendship and the viewing pleasures, at Longwood Gardens. In my moments of real, you will remain in my heart and I will always see you in the shadow of the moon.... Maureen *In The Shadow of the Moon* Autumn's soft breezes whirl round the moon Our hearts rising croon to the light of the moon Signs of fall drift round toes as we scuff Down the beach rough in the shadow of moon Bright colored leaves, oranges yellows and reds On the sand they are bled by the silvery moon Warm for a fall night clothing wouldn't be missed An extra warm kiss we sway 'neath the moon Surf lapping lightly, we hardly see foam The pipers do roam to hide from the moon Your soft hand in mine, your eyes lit by the stars With all that is ours we swoon under the moon In a pile of soft leaves we lay in delight Kisses in spotlight we're the stars of this moon A sterling performance not a nuance rehearsed In each other immersed, it's a true lover's moon With pledges of love, caresses of signing Our love is undying, witness the moon ©yosserian 10*14*99 Written for me on my website of M/Moonchild by Bill, Wilfred Yeats, also known as Yoss, Yosserian and vagrant...who joined me here, when looking for a place to call home for our words... I am, as many others are, holding you in my thoughts and prayers...your words are timeless and special, Bill. ~Wynter/Maureen/MMoonchild "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 07-08-2001).] |

Maureen....what words I would have had, left me as I skipped down the pages, being treated, two for one... in absolute amaze at the beauty. We all thank you for this very tender, heartfelt read. |
