Summer Morn Virginia Salter respite was good dawn is here and yawn has left its keeper the morn is golden yes, glorified with the joy of floral creepers silhouettes design the soil with lattice lines and cool peace ensues in radiant hues missed only by the fool and I at rest in casual dress do thrive on peaceful strummings pluck at my soul with gentle roll to calm my goings and comings © July 13, 2000 |
