Always stand for what you believe Never let opinions sway you Your dreams are yours to achieve Have faith -- one day you'll break through Never give up, Thinking you can't win But most importantly: Never give in! You see life through clouded eyes You think no one understands you Your pain comes as no surprise In a world that doesn't always share your views You've come this far -- To give up would be a sin... Forget the odds and... Never give in! I know how you feel 'Cause I've been there before You think your ideals Aren't worth it anymore But keep in mind that where you're going Is the same place that you've been 'Till you remember, for the better, to never Ever Never give in! Never give up, Thinking you can't win But most importantly: Never give in! You feel the weight Of the world on your shoulders Don't kill love with hate... Never give in! Indeed it is, SEA -- a melodic and energetic rock song with a very strong and uplifting electric guitar hook in the pause between each last "Never give in" line. Thanks for the reply and glad you liked it. So right, Betty. Too many of us give in due to fear or insecurity in order to obtain "approval", when deep inside we feel that we're sacraficing a part of ourselves that really shouldn't be... very strong powerful makes think of the days when people wanted to"fight the powers that be" a little old school PUBLIC ENEMY pun there. overall i liked it kind of has the imagery of a rage against the machine lyric very nice jonathon |
