The cold
came in
and touched my soul
I feel it
always
feel its hold
and I wander
to the glass
and breathe
the warmth of summer's past...
expelling circles
of the fog
dreaming of
a yuletide log
and all the hopes
of spark within--
the wish, the prayer
to live again...

Solstice
she my dampened friend--
the dark of days
shan't do me in...
I watch
I wait
I bow my head
knowing
loving
light instead...

one candle burning
all I need
a flicker's yearning
plant of seed---
a solitary
whim of need...

a spark of life
dispelling dread
the boast of birth
life after death...

Serenity--

a spark of life
dispelling dread
the boast of birth
life after death...

Loved this, especially the above.

OH I guess I must have missed this sad news. I feel awful. But thanks for the beautiful poem, Serenity, as always, you speak volumes in exquisite form.

Seems funny to thank anyone, but I did want to acknowledge you all. But truly? This was just for Wils...with my love. Thank you all, for showing your love.
