Feminine It Felt feminine. Strange, Given my situation, Alone at the bottom of a canyon Where heat vied with glacier water Craving a union Where the insulated thighs of my hip boots Gave way to the frozen white Of jeans cut-off. Not to mention My baseball cap, Reversed to guard against the sun, Or the ultimate masculine, A Bowie knife As protection against who knows what In the way of wild abandon. And yet, I observed the slow unbuttoning Of my flannel shirt, As though it were something A wife should do On occasion. RMW |

Not only was that extremely feminine, but slightly warming, as well.... an excellent write, but then I've come to expect no less..... |

A lovely balance of yin and yang, Bob. Loved the visuals you presented here, too. Cor |

I hate when that happens Bob. . . what a unique view of the world you have. . . ------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

I observed the slow unbuttoning Of my flannel shirt, As though it were something A wife should do On occasion. A very interesting scene, simple task turned into a profound observation. Loved it. "difference between love and comfortis that comfort's more reliable and true |

Bob, you have done it again. I would be green with envy if not for the fact that I enjoy you work so much. WRITE ON! Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. Philip Sidney (1554-1586) Loving in Truth |
