Gliding eagle
Against the piercing sun
Blinds yearning eyes

Old rocking chair
Squeaking on summer porch
Cricket responds

On linen sheets,
Moon, the only witness
As life begins

Crystal snowflakes
landing on a coat sleeve
Stars from heaven

A sun-lit web
quivering with dewdrops
Architect hides
