A wasp was buzzing 'neath my eave,
To me or mine he meant no harm.
Still wasps have been known to leave
A stinger in one's thigh or arm.

So I tore my sandal from my foot
And without the least compunction
Delivered a blow sufficient to
Terminate each function.

It drifted to the ground just like
A maple seed, withered brown.
I tromped upon it seven times
To be sure it would stay down.

I love my fellow creatures.
All are sacred, even though
Now and then I show my love
With a swift premptive blow.

That's the only way to deal with wasps, stomp 'em and squish 'em....they are nasty. Cute poem!

   LOL...I love this!!!
   I'm one of those people who feels
   guilty if I kill even the smallest
   insect.  There is, however, one
   HUGE exeption to the rule...COCKROACHES!!!
   I HATE 'EM!!  They're ugly, they fly,
   and they are entirely too quick on
   their little tiny feet for my comfort...LOL.
   Thanks for the laugh...and the
   opportunity to vent! LOL
