I had a taste of love for a moment
a heart beating against mine
i had a taste of passion
in the spring, a year ago
someone i use to know
left me with lovely memories
kisses from my head to toe

I had a taste of passion
i loved him for three years
for him i was a passing fancy
each kiss..another game
a sport he played often
but just not he i will blame

i was caught in a deceitful web
and she was a black widow
luring in the shadows
i had a taste of passion
he was not just one of few
i had a taste of passion
i swam in his eyes of blue

we walked in the misty rain
holding hands like lovers
our long awaited rendezvous
lasted not long enough

his bear hugs i remember
left me breathless in his arms
soft kisses in elevators
dinners within candlelight charms

holding hands across the table
making love in the jasmine night
i had a taste of passion
i know he was wrong for me
a wine woman and song man
i loved faithfully.

Wow, cool poem, I have a poem much like this one, that reminds me to put it up . I realy enjoyed reading that poem, it had a lot of meaning and a brilliant flow . Thankyou very much .

A really good poem, I liked it.

Victoria, I am remained of the saying "it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."wonderfully written poem, really enjoyed the read.
