In a world of myth When love becomes lie Where pain and sorrow Is your alibi Hopeless dreams And visions lost Sanity cut short Your life it cost The stalking wind Of love gone sour Breathes down your neck At this crooked hour The times you’ve shared The moments all gone Like shadows of the moon At the coming of dawn No consideration Not even a care Of your aching heart As it begins to tear Hopes faithful climb Is now put to the test Feelings of change And seasons of unrest Life’s simple pleasures Forgotten by most In the valley Of wind and ghosts Better to die, and sleep |

the title says it all. . . great poem. . . flows well, and I'm wondering what could have inspired it. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Hey Paula, I've missed you too. You can email me at boninmonkey@hotmail.com. And as for what inspired this was that once again, I fell in love with a girl and she broke my heart. Same old sob story. Thanks for the replies. Better to die, and sleep |
