Tears roll down my cheek as I weep for my fallen friend who was taken away too soon staring up into the heavens, I scream "Why did she have to die?!?" suddenly, I grow silent, my senses peaked listening, as if to hear a reply but, only silence fills this dismal place glancing down at her grave slowly a strange feeling overwhelms me as if some force is with me draining the pain and sorrow from my being I slowly start to smile as I remember her face the way she made me feel inside the many times we spent together I soft whisper, "I'll miss you" as I turn to walk away I lay a rose upon her grave my way of saying goodbye and to show that I will always love her Fear destroys the mind, depression destroys the soul... only love and compassion may save you from death. |

Hi, I was at the main site today and came across a poem of yours. So I wanted you to know. This is so sad...but hopeful too. A nice poem for this Memorial weekend. |
