A minute past midnight, the full moon aglow, they meet where the stream pools to fall into its flow. The water laps, advances, withdraws, pushing slowly, rhythm of pause. The river sighs, their embrace in the stream, so much like a dream. Gentle, gentle, cool water, soft as finest silk, ripples over heated skin. Droplets beg to be licked away by a lovers tongue achingly slow. Oh. Oh she whispers...murmurs...moans....pleads his hands follow the waters drift, easing over satin skin, flowing, creating a current of desire. A river's song of ever long and longing. Oh, she sighs, then opens eyes to see his face, framed by stars. She breathes his name against his lips his need is at his fingertips, drowning in this love they make, timeless like the current, an ever flowing heat, an unquenchable burn, And the river flows. He touches her face, places his fingers against her lips. Shhhhhhhhhh he whipers. Listen to the rivers song. He pulls her closer still. the rivers hold a lesser grip. Legs wrapped tight around him, moans compete with night birds calls. Enmeshed, in motion, dancing to the river's song. The moonlight scatters from moistened skins, and sparkles in their wake. The river has a thousand fingers and slides them over everywhere. Its current ignites their skin, their fires within - aglow, in this place that only they know.
