The First Star

where is the first star, mommy
which one do you think it might be
i have to find that special star
could you point it out for me

please tell me the truth now, mommy
will my wish really come true
should i just tell it to the stars
or should i whisper it to you

i have a special wish tonight
lean close if you want to hear
it's going to be for you, mommy
since, to me, you are so dear

i know sometimes i make you sad
i don't always listen...it's true
so, mommy, i'm wishing
that you will remember
just how much
'i love you'

Yup, my girl is going to love this one, as we wish on a star each time she sees one (if she is up late enough!), a keeper it is.
