Unseen friends

I will never see them
Friends that I have met
I came upon them one day
While surfing on the net

The poetry they’ve written
Fills me with such glee
There are others out there
Who really think like me

They cover many subjects
Nothing is left alone
To read all they have written
Is rather like coming home

So though I’ll never meet them
These unseen friends of mine
It’s nice to know they’re out there
And I can visit any time

How sweet! I'm sure we all feel that way about our sister and brother poets. And it is such a comfort to know we are not alone in our searching and our dreams. Thanks for sharing, and being there in print and spirit to raise ours.
