Finally now I can see I've opened my eyes I've seen the proof I now know your lies. I put my trust and faith in you now I believe nothing that you say or do. The truth now be known yes, it's a fact you do not feel love your heart does lack. I'm all right now my heart will mend at least your lies will no longer offend. SO POOF! BE GONE! I'm finally free I've opened my eyes the truth I now see. On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. |

Time to start fresh and enjoy life without the lies. Very good poem, sometimes writing and then seeing it in print makes getting over heartache a little easier. Good luck! |

GS, I know this feeling all too well. The lessons are hard to learn, and the pain stings for awhile but as cliche' as it sounds, time does make it easier. My favorite poet Merrit Malloy once wrote, "We want to feel nothing when it hurts, and everything when it doesn't" I hope your heart will heal soon. Take care... Elise |

Sometimes, it's just enough to know that we have enough self worth to just draw the line...but still, I don't give up. I believe in the ability of the rehabilitation of understanding. But love YOU...enough to say "no more"--excellent message! |
