The night was warm and inviting
The moon was full and ripe
The setting for our loving
Would be basked in candlelight

The spicy smell of incense
Drifted above us on the bed
Rose petals adorned my pillow
As you tenderly lay down my head

My lips were warm and inviting
As you pressed your lips to mine
Your eyes were filled with sensuality
In the candlelight, how they shine

The closeness we experience
As or bodies are entwined
How I love it when your fingers
Around my face they outline

We move so well together
Our souls dance in the candlelight
Your love is all I'll require
On this wonderfully romantic night

Intoxicated by our passion
So much more of you I'll yearn
We have many more hours of loving to enjoy
And much more to explore and learn

very nice write.  i like the mood your poetry puts me in.  your flow is quite fluid. "Intoxicated by our passion" is perfect.  job well done.

This is openly sensual and provocative. Yet, I really enjoyed the passion within!

Thank you all and I'm glad you all liked the romance in this one.  It's not hard to guess I'm a hopeless romantic is it?
Take care......Sue
