in eyes of jade I see not a jewel for jewels tarnish and lose their luster over time fading like dwarf stars in the sky in eyes of jade I see not a field for fields of grass wither and grow brown ravaged by fire and by Nature's wrath to become barren in eyes of jade I see not riches for riches are spent far too soon and the things that they buy with themselves offer fleeting comfort in eyes of jade I see a heart the heart of a woman with hair of golden flax a woman that has known love that has run from love and now flies back to love a love that she sees when eyes of jade meet eyes of leather brown creating between them a hazeled passion --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Truly lovely, Sven, you are terrificly inspired, here! I must add! I was arguing the whole way, though enjoying every word, hazel eyes ARE NOT GREEN! Ah Virginia...my hazel eyes ARE green...some days....then other days, they share brown...then tan....some days a wonderful mix of green, brown and gold.... so perhaps not in your dictionary, but certainly in my hazeled eyes... this is a treasure! |
