Honesty is the policy
Whether good better or best
So let me have it from you
Come on, get it off your chest

Don't prance around the subject
Let me have it on the chin
Tell me the truth, I dare you!
Your words won't do me in

How can we have this thing?
A relationship made of air
If you won't tell me how it is
Won't tell me if you care

So go ahead and mumble
Look down and scuff your toes
Stop the lies between us
From now on, honest knows!
