My grief is like a wave washing over me
It invades my mind and my soul
It sometimes catches me off guard
And in my heart it burns away a small hole

This burden of grief always follows me
It's so heavy like a ball and chain
I just wish that the heavy rains would come
And wash the pain and sadness away

In the still of the night I search for you
So vividly you appear in my dreams
As my eyes open to the sound of the wind
And I realise things are not quite as they seem

So many kind people are around me
Yet so alone I sometimes feel
Such safety I feel within my dreams
I just wish that they could be for real

Sue,

Grief is something we've all dealt with and it is true that time heals, but I know that doesn't give you comfort right now.  Please know that I am available whenever you have need.  I wish you my best and my prayers are with you, my friend.  (((hugs))

I don't know what else to say...cept to give you a hug?

It is to do with tree-ferns:
mamuka, pongo, wheki.
Shelter under here is so easily understood.

Sue:  So sorry for what you are going through. Try to find one thing every day to be happy about and they'll multiply. I am praying for you.
