the season changed within
of a window last left opened
seeking a lasting frame of mind
that could not be forgotten
when shadows left their mark
upon a scaterd landscape vision
losing the first escape of pride
that which we want indentured.
the season changed within
as fluid as the muck we stand
for days begin in the end
so we may rescue our second sight
one chance does make us great
that being how we hold our heads
to the sky we see our wings
clipped from the angels hands.
