And I write,
and I reply
so others can feel inspired
loved, so they can too, endure
and I write
not for myself, but from myself
so others can have hope
to feel there own words mean something.
I write not from pain but from joyous renewal
of my spirit.
I am…a writer.
Within the pages I have come full circle,
from withholding all emotion to hide behind
formal verse to baring my soul
so others could feel.
Others hurt, and will be hurt
but they have an outlet
Poetry is that outlet for myself,
for others.
It’s not the ultimate help, for only that
comes from God, He is there when we fall.

I pray whoever reads this never goes through
what I have this year,
but if you do?
I would be there to lift you up and give you
some understanding, love and encouragement
and in my poetry?
I write…from myself
for you.
Be well and write until your heart is content
but more importantly, write until your soul is full.
For in that fullness, you will know increasing depth
of joy.
