The Storm (Senryu) darkness shadows day hurriedly we hide away as clouds come to play out in the distance deafening harsh rumbling our early warning announcing loud call annoying clapping way high banging thunderous illumination bolted chains of heated light commotion of fire electricity atmospheric discharging pure entertainment precipitation angels tear drops from the sky as heaven now cries "...the rest is silence" (Hamlet) Shakespeare [This message has been edited by 1slick_lady (edited 06-21-2001).] |

the fascination of storms...so much power...so riveting...as long as I'm inside I can't say I enjoyed the storm I was in one fourth of July when lightening struck the river and coursed through the ground, emptying every tree of every bird and zapping eleck-a-tric-ity through the metal in my chaise lounge. |
