A genuine pair of Swedish clogs Are kept outside my door I wear them out in my garden Whenever I go out to explore They take me on a journey Where I admire nature at its best And if ever I am feeling tired There's always a place where I can rest The main colors of my garden Consist of blues and shades of green All the colors of the rainbow Are most likely to be seen Under my birch tree I now sit And soak up everything I see From the brightly colored flowers To the nectar seeking bees The wattle birds have come to rest In my flowering gum tree way up high While the blackbirds splash in the birdbath Before they take to the brilliant blue sky Such harmony and inspiration is afforded me Whenever I choose to come here A place to escape from the troubles of the world Here I know I have nothing to fear Suetang |
