Our jeans are rolled up to our knees As we walk along the shore You retrieve a piece of driftwood Washed up from the night before Many treasures of the ocean Will arrive with the incoming tide On the edge of this beautiful blue ocean Is where you and I so often reside We come here for the serenity A place where we declare our love Or to just marvel at nature's beauty As we watch the seagulls soar high above Most of all we come here to see the water To immerse ourselves in the most brilliant of blue A place to escape from the rat race Where all our troubles simply fade from view Suetang |

I always feel very tiny in the presence of the sea, being there I feel nature in all it's strenghts. OOHHH you must have known I would feel this poem in my bones. ![]() Titia A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... |
