I cannot contain you.
It hurts me to realize that you don't belong to me.
How blind was I to think,
that your love forever would be mine,
exclusively.
You're the keeper of my love.
You'll forever have my touch,
if that is what you desire,
even if it is from time to time.
And with tears in my eyes I pray to God,
that you find that what makes you happy,
even if it makes me sad.

One thing I have found, is that the heart can expand so far, that the hurts of today, can only be a fraction of the whole. Take the good, leave the bad behind where it belongs..the past...gentle smile
