I cried last father just to let you know. I thought of the grass and how it always grows. The ball in the air floated down in my dream But eventually it landed no matter how it seemed. The wind that swirled above because I was niave now brings tears to my eyes as my face it stings. The memory of stories filled with flying things, but now I know only angels can have wings. Bubbles of laughter glisten in my brain while in my heart remained the finished stains. My hand as cold as the stone it rests upon The tears as gentle as the rain dew forms among my pain. But as the wind kisses my check I smile we may be parted but only for a little while. ~*Freedom Is Not Free*~ (Korean War Memorial) |

Oh my, the tenderness and sense of loss washing over me right now. Wow. Excellent work, Voiceless. You are right though, one day you'll see him again. All writing comes |

The imparted such tenderness, yet tinged with sadness and some regret. Be at peace. "I am not now that which I have been." |

It is hard to give a complete smile around on Father's Day when we miss ours so much. Warm hugs... |

Wonderful tribute of love! A great write of faith also! The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |
