Cat Days Virginia Salter some days I’m so much like a cat. . . no matter on which side of the door I’m standing it feels like the wrong side © June 16, 2001 Am I to be as Sand? Virginia Salter sand, as if motionless, lies beside the sea receiving blows of blue and crimson tide yet ‘going with the flow’ ever changing building, collapsing, rippling as Sea caresses and rocks it accepting whatever move it’s given never straining to gain or keep hold is ‘going with the flow’ really what one’s to do just let the sea and wind keep a perfect hold on you? © June 16, 2001 [This message has been edited by VAS (edited 06-16-2001).] |
