ZULAFEAN
CURLING LOCKS (of hair)

Muj ko dakhtay he wo zara sa muskuranay lugay
She began to start smiling while having a look on me
Chupkay chupkay wo maray dil k kareeb aanay lugay
Slowly slowly she began to come closer to my heart

Hoi hay jub say nuzronn ki tukrar un say
From when there is a meeting of our eyes
Rufta rufta wo muj say mara dil churanay lugay
Slowly slowly she began to steal my heart from me

Yaad purta hay hum bi moam ho gay thay kubbi
I think there was a time, when I became tone down
Rashmi zulfean thi jub wo apni hilanay lugay
When she began to move her silky curling locks

Aaj mahfil maen wo bi roo parray thay shayed
Today she began to weep in the party, perhaps
Halut dil ki jub hum un ko sunanay lugay
When I began to tell her the condition of my heart

Ikk hamoshii si chaa gae chehray pay unn k
There spread a silence on her face
Shayed wo bi thay humean kuch batanay lugay
Perhaps, she was about to tell something to me

Wo maray piyar mean thay uoon pagal honay lugay
She was going to become mad in my love in this way
Shayed wo apni aankhonn maen muj ko bsanay lugay
Perhaps, she was about to absorb me in her eyes

Oor kuch lumhonn mean wo hum say ghaeer ho diyay
And....in some moments she became a stranger from me
Na janay maray dil k gulistann ko kiun jalanay lugay
Don't know why she began to burn the garden of my heart

Itnay to gaya guzray naheen haan aay sung dil sanum
I am not such a silly or non-beautiful person, O my stone heart darling
Hum say abb yah nuzrann kiun chupanay lugay
Why are you avoiding the looks from me?

Chahut k armann to dil say chura he liyay haen tum nay
You have already stolen my passions of love from my heart
Abb hum say tum apna damun kiun chooranay lugay
Why are you trying to leave your skirt from me?

Uoon to chulta hay muhabat k iss karwann mean
This is happened in the caravan of love
Hum ko dunya k agay kiun ittna jukanay lugay
Why are you degrading me in front of this world?

Muhabat ki aarzoo to uss ko hoti hay Waseem
The only one demands of love.... Waseem
Chooat kha kar bi jo sadda muskuranay lugay
Who gives smiles ever even after having a bad luck in love

How I wish I could hear this one read aloud.
This is gorgeous and I enjoyed the difference of the phrasing --I will be looking for your work in the future, Waseem!
