I hold the book in my hands
the leather cover almost speaks
its name under the touch of
my fingers. . .
Mysteria de Vida
          Mystery of Life

I open the book
expecting to find the answers
that I have sought for
so long
but instead
I only find these four words
Love
          Happiness
                           Sorrow
                                       Hope

and I wonder
if instead of finding
the answers. . .
have I found
the questions?
