I Love You, Tyler I remember the day I found out and what your father said. My mother wasn’t sure about the plans I’d made. I watched you come into this world. I watched when at four months, you almost died. I remember when at two, you came to me, “I want to help, Mama” I taught you how to cook and clean up your toys. I told you to behave and to listen to grownups. Now, almost five, you say you love me and miss be a bunch. Please be good for daddy and learn lots in school. I still have so much to teach you and am sure you can teach me, too. I’ll never hurt you intentionally. Be nice and always listen to grownups. I love you, my son, and always will. |

Destiny, This is such a tender and sad poem. There's nothing like the love of a mother for her children. I love the "realness" of this poem. Well done! Nathaniel |

Thank you all, Most of the time people take for granted the things that are just given to them. I believe it is very important to thank god every day for everything that we have. If not for him where would we be. |
