Vertigo feel in silent rhapsody, I can't even think what I mean to say, Confusion reigns like vain futility, I can't even search my meaning today. Sanity has left its shores, edges frayed! I am in an advanced stage of retard, Unsheltered, unable in being staid, I am my own miniature reward. Why walk? Where do we go? Where from? Where to? Why talk? Where is the goal? How come? What for? Why baulk? Where is the next cringe coming from? Why stalk? Whose shadows do we try to hound? The whys have me in abject surrender, I am in the presence of wheres and whats, The hows think of me as a pretender, I seem to fight with ghosts in my closet. Just then the horn screams out to egg me on, The train blares and my body rushes front, That there is some useful work to be done, Comes a thought that derails my ghostly hunt. :: |

The title was a poem unto itself. Such a wonderful job on this one. "I am not now that which I have been." |

Sudhir, my friend~ I think we all face these questions in our lives ~ Sometimes we're the dartboard - sometimes the dart ! 'That there is some useful work to be done, Comes a thought that derails my ghostly hunt.' Be the dart ! *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Thank you very much, Karilea, for your words Kathleen, it is, isn't it? I will try to shoot darts here. Thanks a lot for coming by Sauni, How have you been lately? Thank you so much for visiting. Morgoth, Firstly, welcome to passions and many thanks for reading. Seymour, Thanks a lot for your response. After memories, words are the ones those haunt, aren't they? Julian, that a mighty good compliment, and I appreciate your words a lot. Thanks a lot. Marge, Thanks for the hugs and the response. I am aiming to be the dart Paula, Many thanks to you.
