Tragedies you go, you do it was called Peace Corps kids knew what it was for you go, you do teach, and tell and save them all from absolute hell Hell-o. remember? earthquake tornadoes hurricanes floods fires tragedies abound suddenly, “WE” became the norm fit the form sudden storm HEY-o. remember? earthquake tornadoes hurricanes floods fires tragedies abound you go, you do media hits, there’s a clue too much said, too much…rue, no room for thought less is more, and yet, we bought ‘Sright! remember? earthquake tornadoes hurricanes floods fires tragedies abound we ask ourselves “what has happened?” we are the cause our fingers go tapping find a reason find an excuse and in what season will we excuse the cause of we the thought of now it simply comes to us somehow and we would reach back to a past that is beyond and beyond our grasp do not forsake all that you do as one still reaches for a clue one still hungers for the truth and look to us to lead the youth they think they know the where they grow… it is in your NOW it is in your KNOW…. remember? earthquake tornadoes hurricanes floods fires tragedies abound do with what you can while to this earth you are still above ground you still have worth…. you are still sound…. remember? |

Well my old grandpappy used to say, "Everyday you're above ground is a plus!" I always got a kick out of that simplistic but truthful philosophy! I like this Karilea!.... "do not forsake all that you do as one still reaches for a clue one still hungers for the truth and look to us to lead the youth they think they know the where they grow… it is in your NOW it is in your KNOW…." Great poem all the way through! The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |

Pursuit of advancement to the end. A noble theme well said. "Having squandered the small amount of sense I was unblessed with, I find that climbing beanstalks is really quite fulfilling." |

Kari, beautiful and profound, 'They do not know the where they grow' touched me especially. Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |
