Drowning in Dad's Tears I believe in the holes that offer those in Heaven A chance to view loved ones that still walk Earth's plane I'm undoubted in fact, of just how much they really do see More perhaps then that mirror we stand before each day As they bear witness to our triumphs and tribulations Yet they can say nothing, leaving it in the hands of Karma On most nights and into early hours of morn These thoughts leave me with tranquillity and comfort So it may strike you as odd that of late I wander Walking the house, digging out pictures of happier times Yet my conscience in good faith wrestles the unknown Begging my very being for answers that only you hold So tell me now and I'll swear not another question more Still dream? Or entrapped inside your own nightmare? Does he haunt you through the ample hole within your soul? How do you sleep upon your newly acquired waterbed? But such insignificant questions trivialise, so I'll cut to the chase Are you jaded from gagging? Because I have no doubt You must be drowning in Dad's tears Marina May 21/2001 It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen Marina Crossley [This message has been edited by Marina (edited 05-22-2001).] |

Marina...this is a very intense and personal write.. very layered and complex... your imagery of heaven is very cool and well conceived... and your obviously working thru some old ghosts and pain... well written and deep, I hope you find the answers you need and all involved can heal, which is the best reason to write this kind of emotions out. take care and hugs Marina-girlie. We wish ourselves beautiful, |

On most nights and into early hours of morn These thoughts leave me with tranquillity and comfort So it may strike you as odd that of late I wander Walking the house, digging out pictures of happier times Yet my conscience in good faith wrestles the unknown Begging my very being for answers that only you hold Some wonderfully penned images here, powerful write. I have to agree with the rest....powerful but personal write. Wrestling with yourself or the deeds of a sibling I don't know....but I really got into the entire of this piece... excellent portrayal of inner feelings...and that ending well, that's something else! "Faith is the ASSURED expectation of things hoped for. The EVIDENT demonstration of realities though not beheld." Have a nice day! |

ahh, nice, and how do we know that they do not speak, but through the words of others that we read and hear, sent from afar to give you answers they wish to tell. Who knows if the next words you have, are for an answer you seek? nice thoughts, good pondering...gentle smile |

This is intense and leaves many questions to baffle us. You have lost your Mom? or a sibling?. Whatever it is I am sure you are helping to dry your Dad's tears. Joyce |
