Today the dollar's powerful
Against the lira, franc and pound.
So vacationers in Europe
Will see Americans all around.

They'll fill the Sistine Chapel,
Gawk at the Madeleine
And act as much like tourists
As any you've ever seen.

So let tourists take their dollars
And happily fly away.
While they're absent, I'll vacation
In the good old U.S.A.
