Leaning back among the dunes, sea oats dancing to breeze's tunes. Listening to the muted roar, heavy waves moving to the shore. Caressing sun warm on my face, I close my eyes to its embrace. Dreams must have overcome me, for Venus was rising from the sea. Floating to shore on her large shell, dancing and moving on the swell. Crunching footsteps on the sand, slender fingers taking my hand. I no longer knew if it were a dream, maybe sunstroke, it would seem. Venus I knew it could not be, only Aphrodite could look like she. She reached out a hand and cupped my face, smiling she slipped in my embrace. “I’m sorry it took so long, my dear, The transmission stuck in low gear.” Chuckling softly, I held her close, Out of the three, I loved her most. Aphrodite or Venus she may not be, But this true love was all for me. |

Oh this is wonderful! Soothing and gentle and such love, peeking out in the ending. My applause, dear Logan, this is stunning.  Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment. |
