Arms of Fantasy

Tonight, in sleeplesness
I read reminders of you,
lines of words,
pages of thoughts,
hidden meanings in between.

Laced by memories,
connecting them to happiness,
swaying me in nakedthoughts
rising, engaging,
I reach out to you.

Captivating are shadows
unmasking your touch,
reining me in, easing the day's tension,
as I drift in my want, unable to resist
the dreams that await.

Midnight walks,
the stars light the way,
temptation takes hold
and I unfold, drawn into
the arms of fantasy.
