One Person One person, seeking guidance, questioning, believing that someone’s belief in that own self is needed, as the person’s belief suffers, lacking where is that divining light One person, knowing how it is, having put up barriers of complacency in order to get along, seeing it is not working out as well as it should have, as truth is coming out, the marriage is dying, it should be buried and no one knows whether to give it a funeral or stuff it like a so much beloved pet of what once was flowers are fading One person, seeing marriage struggle to remain afloat, acknowledging the shipmate’s refusal to see that one way is the only way, when both mates are diametric in their stance such a black storm One person, feeling verbal abuse and anger wearing thin the veneer of life, and their ages, opposed, one not ready to retire, and die so who then, is the stalemate on this checkered board where is the fun of the game There are times they put themselves into social situations, to behave in act accordingly, but after all is said and done, the dye was been cast, and the colors have bled as one hears the rent of the weave one person dies one person cries |

And is it not, that even in death life is formed anew? All that dies decays to be fed upon and enrich the things which come after. Sad... but well done... |

Oh do I ever identify with that one! Very well written, as that is exactly what happens one dies inside, and the other crys. Well done. ~*~ Remember to tell someone today that you love them as tomorrow may never come ~*~ |

Decaflame, This is such a painful write. Assuming that it is true, I wish you both well and hope you're able to work things. Michael Proust- |

as truth is coming out, the marriage is dying, it should be buried and no one knows whether to give it a funeral or stuff it like a so much beloved pet of what once was Powerful writing, I guess all fires die out when they are not tended to be by both parties, even love. enjoyed the read "Build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life". Terry Pratchett |

Decaflame--sometimes people change and directions no longer match..it is sad, but a fact...and it is impossible to hold on, and hard to let go. A powerful write here about this struggle. |

"having put up barriers of complacency" "wearing thin the veneer of life" Wonderful phrasing Decaflame ... you've captured such a sadness at the loss of what may have been once "shared" within these lines. This was a gripping read, really well done. ![]() Best wishes, /Kit |

I can feel the sadness in this one Decaflame, I feel that you speak for so many with these words. . . excellent. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
