Pearls of Night driving through the night string pearled headlights press against blackness my necklace breaks apart as they aproach "...the rest is silence" (Hamlet) Shakespeare |

I loved the visual of this...and how you tied in the symbolism. Abstract, yet generally accessible. A nice melding ot the two---I liked very much! |

Visualization so intense and flowing. You need not close your eyes to see. Memories and anticipation become as one. Thank you Dear lady for an excellent read. |

love the way you described those headlights..... Kathleen Blake "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee [This message has been edited by Irish Rose (edited 06-10-2001).] |

I'm not sure what to make of this helen. . . it seems that the two are meeting head on. . . almost like a crash course. . . it's just full of total symbolism. . . that's what I like about it. . . --------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Good poem! Very enjoyable read! The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |

Sweet as summer raspberries and full of energy in a soft, quiet manner. Symbolism galore. Good read. theLadypoet "A woman is like a tea bag, you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water..." Eleanor Rooevelt |
