With breath that is still captured somewhere within I listen again to catch a glimpse of him This gallant knight of whom all maidens dream I will be the one to evoke his pleasured scream If I sneak upon him with feet that seem to walk upon air He never will know there was ever anyone there If he happens to sense my presence nearby As surely his heart is keener than that of his eye But alas what is that…I hear sound from behind My heart it beats faster…Fear makes me blind I’m running in terror of something untold As it reaches out and grabs me…I pass out cold This laughing face that looms over me Some fearless maiden I turned out to be Caught by the knight I was trying to see My gallant hero-my single Daddy! Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |
