heart find your refuge in my arms away from a world that you no longer belong to they don't know what you've been through your struggle your pain that all you wanted was to be loved you reached out and found me reaching back to you my heart looking for your heart in my words your heart found what it had always longed for the words of a poet of love a poet of life not like the words you found before words that asked you to lose yourself to lose your being to be covered in nothingness and to give all to them no heart, the words you found simply asked you to be yourself to be a poet of life a woman in love they held you in their phrases and caressed your soul with their lines and you breathed again and you loved again -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
