Two crows Join the murder Atop the trees As sunset begins In earnest. Black wings Carried them From field to Tree just as Darkness creeps Into empty Hearts No melody No harmony But raucous cries Fill my ears as I too settle in For a cold Winter’s eve. Legends say raven Stole fire and gave It to the people, Getting singed In process I think of crows And you |
